Member - MRACI

Chartered Member - MRACI CChem

RACI Chartered Membership (MRACI CChem) is a mark of excellence and a quality assurance that you, as an RACI Chartered Chemist/chemistry professional, practise to the highest standards within the profession.and use of the MRACI CChem affix after your name signifies your professionalism and expertise to both employers and colleagues. You will have access to a range of invaluable benefits and services to support you in your day-to-day work including cutting edge knowledge and research.

Chartered Membership enables you to work with the RACI to help shape the future of the chemistry profession and be part of a reputable institute recognised worldwide.

Fellow Membership - FRACI or FRACI CChem

The Fellow Membership grade is awarded in recognition of a Member who is in a position of eminence within the chemistry profession. Election to this grade is based on:

• Services rendered to the RACI
• Academic qualifications and honours
• Experience and status
• Creative achievement in chemistry
• Responsibility and contribution to chemical science.

• All applications must include two detailed reports from RACI Fellows who know the applicant personally along with their signatures, if this is not possible Fellows of other societies such as the ACS or the RSC may be acceptable as referees.

Acceptance as a Fellow is based upon the recommendation of the Assessment Committee.

How to apply for Fellow Membership - FRACI or FRACI CChem

Step 1. Download the application form below.
Step 2. Complete the application form including a comprehensive CV, copies of any qualifications not already uploaded to the RACI database and please ensure the form is countersigned by two RACI Fellow Referees. Please place all documents into one PDF document.
Step 3. Click the Apply now button and email through the PDF of the completed application form and documents.
Step 4. The RACI will respond to your application for RACI Fellow Membership.

    If you purchase an Annual Membership you are able to claim RACI ticket discounts immediately.
    If you purchase a monthly membership, you are required to have been a RACI Member for 6 Months before you can use any RACI ticket discounts including Conference Discounts.

  • As a RACI Member you are able to use the post nominal affix as recognition of your professional status.

All RACI Membership applications will be assessed by the Membership Assessment Committee, please ensure all relevant documents are uploaded Eg. CV/Diploma/PhD if you have them and select your division preferences in your member profile.

• Member - MRACI

  • RACI Membership (MRACI) grade is for:
    • Chemical Science graduates upon completion of studying.
    • Non-chemical science graduates with 3 years of relevant full-time experience in a chemical science-related field.
    
    Acceptance as a RACI Member is based upon the recommendation of the RACI Assessment Committee.

• Chartered Member - MRACI CChem

  • RACI Chartered Membership (MRACI CChem) is for:
    • A postgraduate in a chemical science field.
    • Individuals who have been awarded an Australian degree in chemistry or a chemistry-related discipline consisting of a minimum of three years of academic study and have completed three years of relevant experience working full time in a chemical science field.
    • Individuals who do not hold a chemistry degree but have a minimum of six years of relevant experience working full-time in a chemical science field.
    
    Acceptance as a RACI Member is based upon the recommendation of the Membership Assessment Committee.

• Fellow Member - FRACI or FRACI CChem

  • The Fellow Membership grade is awarded in recognition of a RACI Member who is in a position of eminence within the chemistry profession. Election to this grade is based on:

    • Academic qualifications and honours
    • Experience and status
    • Creative achievement in the chemical science field.
    • Responsibility and contribution to chemical science.
    
    Acceptance as a Fellow is based upon the recommendation of the Membership Assessment Committee.
